announced today that Anthony J. Sarkis has joined the firm as Head of Equity Capital Markets. Mr. Sarkis will oversee the firms Investment Banking and Capital Markets divisions. Also joining the firm are Frank Argenziano, Senior Managing Director, and David Wong, Senior Managing Director. Messrs. Sarkis, Argenziano and Wong most recently were the senior bankers at Newbridge Securities Corporation, where they spent the past three years developing Newbridge's Investment Banking efforts both domestically and abroad.
These recent hires reinforce Rockwell's commitment to continue its growth as an international, full service Investment Bank focused on emerging market origination and global capital markets distribution. Mr. Sarkis has held the title Head of Investment Banking at Maxim Group LLC, H.C. Wainwright & Co, and most recently at Newbridge Securities Corp. He also served as a senior investment banker at Investec, Inc. focusing on healthcare and digital media. He has participated in transactions with gross proceeds over $3.5 billion over his 21-year career. Mr. Sarkis has completed transactions all over the globe including North America, Europe, Asia (China, Vietnam and Japan), India, Australia, and the Middle East.
Mr. Argenziano joins Rockwell with over 17 years of Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and Securities Trading experience. His public and private financing as well as M&A advisory experience spans a broad range of sectors, geographies and financing structures. Mr. Argenziano was previously employed at Newbridge Securities Corp and Maxim Group LLC where he was integral in originating and leading transactions totaling over $1.25 billion of public and private international financings and over $1.5 billion of M&A advisory in announced and completed transactions for emerging and middle market companies. Mr. Argenziano received a BS in Business Administration and an MBA both from Fordham University.
Mr. Wong joins Rockwell as a Senior Managing Director with over 13 years of professional experience in corporate finance with a focus on emerging growth companies as well as public and private equity for small/mid-market capitalization companies. Before joining Rockwell, Mr. Wong was with Maxim Group LLC where he led their Asia investment banking practice. Previously, he has also worked at Banc of America Securities LLC and William O'Neil & Co. Mr. Wong holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance & Accounting from the University of Chicago.
